Role Overview

The largest of MSK’s clinical departments, the Department of Medicine encompasses experts in solid tumor oncology, hematologic malignancies, subspecialty medicine and supportive and acute care services.  Offering a range of services both in multiple sites in New York City and at their suburban outpatient locations in our Regional Care Network (RCN), DoM physicians oversee the care of the whole patient. The Leukemia Service in the Division of Hematologic Malignancies, Department of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Clinical Investigator at the Assistant Attending level, focused on patient care, education, and research across our New York City and Regional Network locations (New Jersey, Long Island, etc.). This position includes a research focus on the clinical investigation of myeloproliferative neoplasms. Responsibilities will include delivering high-quality clinical care, leading and contributing to clinical research, and participating in teaching and training activities. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, strong critical thinking abilities, and a high level of motivation, empathy, and collaboration.

Key Requirements:

  • M.D., D.O., or equivalent

  • Board eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology

  • New York and/or New Jersey State License Eligible

  • Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Child Abuse Identification & Reporting

Pay Range: 235,000-520,000

Physician compensation is based on multiple variables. This range represents annual salary only and does not include supplemental performance-based pay or any one-time payments that eligible candidates may be offered at the time of hire.

 

Pay Range: $0.00 - $10,000,000.00
