Exciting Opportunity: We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our Retail and Medication Reconciliation team located in the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care, located on East 74th Street.

Role Overview:

  • Review and process take-home prescriptions in the Epic Willow Ambulatory system as per MSK policy and state regulations

  • Review and process investigational orders following corresponding protocol and institutional policies

  • Perform non-sterile hazardous and non-hazardous compounding as per guidelines and procedures

  • Provide patient counseling and medication management

  • Complete inpatient Medication Reconciliation upon admission and discharge

  • Coordinate services with all MSK departments of patient care (including nursing, medical teams, discharge planning, outpatient clinic, pain service, Investigational Drug Service, patient financial service, and International center).

  • Coordinate services with main campus, offsite pharmacies, and regional sites

  • Perform, maintain, and reconcile accurate perpetual inventory, including commercial, investigational agents, and narcotics

  • Assist with research study monitor visits

  • Assist with pharmacy inspections and audits

  • Assist with copay collection using POS system

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

  • NY State Pharmacy license

  • 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist, retail with hospital experience is a plus

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills is a must

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8 am to 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4 pm; rotating schedule with 8-10 hours shifts. Require weekend and holiday coverage. (Subject to change based on the need of the department).
