Electrician - NJ Locations

Role Overview:  

• Assess and plan work by reviewing blueprints, schematics, and work orders; collaborate with customers to determine materials, tools, and approach   

• Perform routine and sophisticated electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with New Jersey electrical codes with minimal direction   

• Install, repair, replace, and test alarm systems, communication systems, electrical circuits, and related equipment   

• Execute electrical construction work including wiring for heat, light, and power systems   

• Partner with Plant Operations to support building needs including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, and general maintenance tasks   

• Develop solid understanding of site plant operations and assist with heating and air conditioning systems; pursue NJ Black Seal license within one year (encouraged)   

• Deliver adaptable, professional service when addressing customer questions and requests   

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring accurate use of tools, equipment, and materials   

• Follow all institutional and regulatory safety standards and protocols   

• Accurately document work performed, including time, materials, and work order updates

• Flexible and adaptable in response to changing operational needs   

Core Skills:  

• Solid understanding of New Jersey electrical codes with the ability to handle both routine and sophisticated assignments independently   

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital or institutional setting   

• Knowledge of HVAC systems preferred   

• New Jersey Electrical License preferred   

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals   

• Proficiency using electrical testing equipment and tools

• Location: Position will be based at one of the following locations, but will support all three:

• 480 Red Hill Road, Middletown, NJ 07748 

• 136 Mountainview Boulevard, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 

• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM  

• Report to: Associate Director, Plant Operations
