Exciting Opportunity at MSK: MSK’s Laurance S. Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion in New York City is seeking a highly skilled and patient‑focused Part Time Ultrasound Technologist to join our world‑class outpatient imaging team.

As one of MSK’s premier ambulatory care sites, the Laurance S. Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion delivers leading-edge diagnostic services within a state‑of‑the‑art environment designed to enhance patient experience, streamline clinical workflows, and support our mission of delivering exceptional cancer care.

In this role, you will provide advanced ultrasound imaging, collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary care teams, and contribute to the high standards of quality, precision, and compassion that define MSK.

Role Overview

  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures independently, under the administrative direction of the Radiology Manager and the clinical guidance of a Radiologist.
  • Use advanced ultrasound techniques and specialized knowledge to support high‑quality patient care and accurate clinical decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless operational workflows and exceptional patient service.
  • Demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic outpatient environment, adjusting priorities to meet patient and departmental needs.
  • Provide technical mentorship and serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues when applicable.
  • Maintain productivity expectations while upholding MSK’s standards for compassion, safety, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP‑accredited School of Ultrasound.
  • ARDMS certifications in Abdomen required. RVT preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant ultrasound experience in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, manage shifting priorities, and maintain high levels of productivity.
  • Proven commitment to exceptional patient service and teamwork in a fast‑paced medical environment.

  • Schedule: part time shifts – 3 days 9a-5p flex per week, no weekends
  • Location: 160 E. 53rd Street, NYC (Rockefeller)
  • Reporting to: Radiology Manager
