Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) is hiring a CDL Driver to support the safe and timely transportation of patients, staff, supplies, and equipment between MSK locations. This role plays an important part in keeping daily operations running efficiently and supporting patient care.

Role Overview

• Transport patients, staff, supplies, equipment, specimens, and materials between MSK locations
• Pick up and return MSK vehicles from designated areas, including off-site parking locations in Manhattan
• Greet passengers respectfully and assist patients and families with directions as needed
• Track trips using a transport application and complete scheduled pick-up and drop-off routes
• Assist with wheelchair transport when required
• Clean and sanitize vehicle high-touch areas during the shift
• Inspect vehicles before use to ensure safety and DOT compliance

Key Qualifications

• Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement
• Current Medical Examiner’s Certification
• Defensive Driving certification preferred or willingness to complete training
• Ability to follow safety procedures, schedules, and written instructions

Core Skills

• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with consistent follow-through
• Clear and respectful communication with patients, families, and staff
• Comfortable using basic mobile or computer systems for trip tracking
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a busy environment

Additional Information

• Location: 300 East 66th Street (BAIC)
• Schedule: Sunday, 11am-7pm Sun. Monday-Thursday, 11:30am-7:30pm, (Off Fri.-Sat.).
• Reports to: Assistant Manager, Transportation
