Exciting Opportunity at MSK:
We are seeking a Supervisor, Diagnostic Radiology to support operations at the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care. Join a mission-driven team delivering world-class cancer care.

Role Overview

  • Oversee day-to-day diagnostic radiology operations across MRI, Ultrasound, and X-ray to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care

  • Manage staff scheduling, coverage, call, and time-off to support routine, urgent, and emergency imaging needs

  • Supervise, train, and support staff, including onboarding, performance feedback, and ongoing development

  • Monitor workflow, schedules, and imaging priorities to ensure timely inpatient and outpatient care

  • Identify operational challenges and partner with leadership to improve processes and patient flow

  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, radiation, and regulatory standards (ACR, FDA, MSK policies)

  • Support equipment readiness, supplies, and imaging systems (PACS/RIS) to maintain smooth operations

  • Perform imaging procedures as needed to support staffing and service demands

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or completion of a 2-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program

  • 4–7 years of progressive radiologic technology experience

  • Active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or ARRT certification

  • ARRT certification in MRI

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification

  • MRSO preferred with MR safety experience, or willingness to obtain within 12 months

Core Skills:

  • Operational leadership in a high-volume radiology environment

  • Staff scheduling, coverage planning, and real-time problem solving

  • Clear communication and coordination across multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance (ACR, FDA, Joint Commission)

  • Workflow optimization and prioritization of urgent vs. routine studies

  • Sound clinical and operational judgment in fast-paced settings

  • Ability to coach, develop, and hold staff accountable

  • Proficiency with radiology systems (RIS, PACS) and operational reporting

Additional Information

  • Schedule: 4-day workweek (Monday–Friday once fully trained); possible weekends with a weekday off

  • Location: David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care, 530 E 74th St, New York, NY 10021

  • Reports to: Manager, Diagnostic Radiology
