Exciting opportunity at MSK: Join our HPB Surgery team as a Clinical Research Associate! This position offers the opportunity to be part of meaningful, high-impact work where precision, compassion, and collaboration come together. Clinical research staff ensure that research is conducted ethically, efficiently, and with the patient at the center, supporting innovations that shape the future of medicine.

Role Overview:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all activities within the assigned research portfolio, ensuring seamless coordination across studies.
  • Maintain up-to-date, real-time knowledge of assigned research protocols, milestones, and requirements.
  • Act as a key facilitator for a multidisciplinary team, integrating data management, patient management, and regulatory oversight.
  • Communicate overall study progress to internal and external partners; proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with research staff, physicians, CTNs, and external partners to ensure efficient and compliant trial execution.
  • Perform a broad range of research-related functions, applying sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of clinical research experience.

Core Skills:

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving research environments with changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple studies and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, anticipate challenges, and implement practical solutions.
  • Proficiency with research systems, databases, and standard office software; ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
  • Enthusiasm and dedication to MSK's vision, mission and values.
