Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We’re looking for a Clinical Trials Nurse – Float to join our team! In this dynamic role, you’ll support multiple disease management teams and clinical research programs, playing a vital part in delivering comprehensive patient care for individuals participating in clinical trials across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Role Overview:
Serve as an integral member of various clinical research teams, providing direct nursing care to research study participants across multiple specialties.
Float across chronic illness management units to support clinical trial operations based on program needs and patient volume.
Implement and uphold research protocol standards in compliance with regulatory, institutional, and external agency requirements.
Work within a Nurse-Physician–based Ambulatory Care Practice Model.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, deliver patient education, and provide patient/family support across diverse clinical populations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care throughout all phases of protocol participation, treatment, and follow-up.
Participate in an individualized training and orientation program developed to support proficiency in multiple clinical trial programs and to reinforce Clinical Trials Nursing principles at MSKCC.
Key Qualifications:
New York State RN license
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
Two-Three years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Oncology, Specialty Care, or Complex Ambulatory Settings
Ability to adapt quickly and practice safely across multiple disease areas
Clinical research nursing experience preferred but not required
Proficiency with clinical and office software (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
BCLS certification

Additional Information:
Hours: 4, 10-hour shifts, flexed Monday–Friday; no weekends or holidays

Pay Range: $110,700.00 - $177,100.00
