Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our Perioperative Services team as a Supervisor of Operating Room Support Services, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care! In this leadership position, you will oversee OR support staff and coordinate key operational functions including patient flow, equipment delivery, inventory management, and sanitation services. You’ll collaborate closely with nursing and surgical teams to foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and reliability—ensuring every procedure is supported by a well-run, patient-centered environment.
Role Overview:
Oversees daily OR support operations, including staffing assignments, patient flow, and OR readiness.
Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
Maintains appropriate OR supplies, equipment, and case cart accuracy to support procedures.
Implements contingency plans to address staffing, equipment, or supply issues.
Supervises, evaluates, and coaches OR support staff; manages performance improvement and discipline as needed.
Coordinates recruitment, scheduling, onboarding, and training of support personnel.
Collaborates with nursing, materials management, and sterile processing leaders on workflow and new equipment implementation.
Monitors incident reporting, quality metrics, and service delivery trends; recommends improvements.
Fosters a collaborative, accountable team environment focused on efficiency and patient safety.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of four (4) years of healthcare-related experience
Demonstrated technical and operational experience in a perioperative or healthcare support environment, including OR workflows, patient flow, equipment and supply management, regulatory compliance, and supervision of frontline support staff.

Location: 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY
Schedule: 1pm - 9pm; Monday through Friday, rotating weekends and holidays
Reporting to: Manager, Perioperative Services
