Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our dynamic Inpatient Hepatobiliary Surgery Service as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and play a pivotal role in patient recovery and care.
Role Overview:
You will be at the forefront of managing post-operative care, addressing complications, and working alongside a collaborative team of expert surgeons and fellows. As part of a team of over 900 APPs at MSK, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families, all while advancing your career in a supportive and innovative environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
A Minimum of 2+ years of relevant clinical experience with inpatient surgery experience preferred
Related National NP certification
BLS/ ACLS certification
OR
Graduate from an accredited PA program
A minimum of 0-1+ years of experience as an experienced PA in surgical oncology preferred
NCCPA certification
Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
BLS/ACLS certification

Collaborative, working seamlessly with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care to inpatient Hepatobiliary surgery patients
Proficient in implementing patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum

Location: 1275 York Ave NY, NY
Hours:12.5 hour shifts, 6a-6:30p weekend rotation may be required
Reports to: Associate Director, APP
Pay Range: $155,500 - $197,400/annually
