Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Project Manager - Immunotherapy 

At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), this Project Manager – Immunotherapy sits at the forefront of scientific discovery and real-world impact. As a Project Manager supporting immunotherapy initiatives, you’ll help move breakthrough research from concept to collaboration—partnering with world-class investigators and industry leaders to advance therapies that have the potential to change patients’ lives and accelerate MSK’s mission to end cancer for life. 

Role Overview 

  • Serve as a project manager for initiatives within the Office of Entrepreneurship and Commercialization (OEC) 

  • Act as a strategic liaison between OEC, MSK investigators, internal stakeholders, and external industry partners to advance projects toward commercialization 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with faculty researchers and key collaborators 

  • Coordinate communication and streamline workflows across departments and functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency 

  • Track project progress, timelines, and milestones across multiple commercialization initiatives 

  • Support projects funded by OEC by facilitating operational plans, gathering required documentation, and managing budgets 

  • Assist Licensing Managers by connecting stakeholders, supporting negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery of necessary materials 

  • Develop marketing materials and execute marketing campaigns to promote technologies and partnership opportunities 

  • Manage collaboration projects with external industry partners, fostering productive and mutually beneficial relationships 

 

 

Key Qualifications 

  • Project Management experience in a complex or regulated environment 

  • Demonstrated experience helping to drive timelines, milestones, and cross-functional deliverables 

  • Experience with financial management, budgeting, or invoicing processes 

  • Background in research, clinical, laboratory, or healthcare settings preferred 

  • Familiarity with industry collaborations, contracts, or licensing activities a plus 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines 

  • Ability to translate complex scientific topics into actionable insights

  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with attention to detail 

  • Strong communication skills for working with scientists, industry partners, and internal teams 

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust and productive relationships

Additional Information:  

  

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday  

Location: Hybrid; 2 times a week on site at 633 Third Ave, New York, NY 

Reporting to  Associate Director, Alliance Management & Technology Development
