Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join MSK as an Ultrasound Technologist at our Westchester location, based in West Harrison, NY. MSK Westchester provides world-class care for residents of New York's Hudson Valley and Connecticut. Patients can receive much of their treatment - including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation at our West Harrison, New York, location. 

Role Overview:

  • Under the administrative direction of the Radiology Manager and also under the clinical guidance of the Radiologist, perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures while applying his/her technical ability independently.
  • Perform all examinations accurately, completely and efficiently, checking technical quality, and submits completed exams for physician to review.
  • Manage all aspects of the exam procedures to maximize exam efficiency while meeting patient needs.
  • Prepare accurate records and enters required data into information management system.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, safe environment, and performs quality control tests as assigned.
  • Treat those individuals (e.g., patient/family, client, center employee) who depend on the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the work as unique individuals in a respectful, courteous manner, and focuses on understanding and meeting their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with others to accomplish departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma; Graduated from an approved Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) School of Ultrasound is required.
  • ARDMS registered in Breast & RVT required.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience; Prostate imaging experience a plus.

  • Schedule: 37.5 hrs, Monday – Friday 11-7 pm. onsite
  • Location: 500 Westchester Avenue, West Harrison, NY (Westchester)
  • Reporting to: Manager
