Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Jee Lab, Digital Oncology Program, Department of Medicine
The Laboratory of Dr. Justin Jee uses real-world health record and tumor genomic data to discover new biomarkers that can impact cancer care. We apply AI to every step in this process, from natural language processing in health records to risk modeling to augmenting clinical trial accrual. We are seeking an experienced research fellow to:
Bring AI to the practice of oncology through model building, validation, and clinical deployment.
Use a combination of electronic health records and high-dimensional genomic data to discover biomarkers to improve patient care
Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the lab
Key Requirements:
A PhD or MD/PhD
Published first-author work (in revision acceptable) in computer science, biology, medicine, or a discipline at the interface (preferred)
Core Skills:
Strong coding skills
Experience with ML or statistics
Expertise in biology or medicine is highly preferred
