Exciting Opportunity at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center: Join the Britta Weigelt Lab as a Research Technician!

At MSK, we are proud to be at the forefront of biomedical science and research for over 70 years. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Research Technician to join our multidisciplinary team investigating the immunology and genetics of gynecologic cancers.

You’ll be part of a collaborative environment dedicated to improving the lives of cancer patients through innovative research and groundbreaking discoveries. This role offers the opportunity to work with patient-derived tissue specimens and contribute to projects aimed at understanding therapeutic response and developing novel treatment strategies.

Role Overview:

  • Support research activities using state-of-the-art techniques and patient samples.
  • Prepare and maintain lab equipment, instruments, and reagents.
  • Perform lab techniques such as pippeting, sample preparation, and tissue processing.
  • Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and share insights with the team.
  • Collaborate closely with researchers and peers in a dynamic, hands-on lab environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in science or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of lab experience.
  • Prior experience working in a lab environment.
  • Familiarity with pippeting, handling tissue specimens, and sample preparation.

  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (onsite)
