Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Chemo Pharmacist for the PACC (Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center) Pharmacy.

Role Overview:

• Clinical review and verification of chemotherapy, non-chemotherapy, and investigational medications for the pediatric service

• Execute cleanroom operations utilizing good aseptic and compounding techniques

• Provide as needed coverage in adult chemo pharmacy at Main Campus

• IRB Inventory management

• Support Omnicell Services

• Other duties as needed

Key Qualifications:

• Valid NY Pharmacist license

• Prior hospital pharmacy and chemotherapy experience preferred

• Highly motivated and able to work well with others in a demanding environment

• Able to adopt a culture centered around patient safety and cleanroom sterility

• Able to make sound judgment even with incomplete information

• Able to suggest changes to workflow to improve patient care

• Someone with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn in an empowering environment

• Someone with a substantial understanding of computer and pharmacy systems

• Someone with a supportive attitude towards others’ beliefs and ideas

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Rotating shift M-F, starting as early as 7 am and ending as late as 8pm. Sunday coverage every 5th week. Weekend and holiday coverage when needed. (Hours may change due to patient care needs)

• Location: Main hospital campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY

• Reports to: Manager, Pharmacy

Pay Range: $57.24 - $91.59/hr.
