Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist to join our 53rd Street Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion location team. 

Role Overview:

• Review and process take home prescriptions in Epic Willow Ambulatory system as per MSKCC policy and state regulations
• Provide patient counseling and medication management
• Oversee inventory management
• Coordinate services with all MSK departments of patient care (including medication reconciliation, discharge planning, outpatient clinic services, and patient financial services (PFS)).
• Coordinate services with all MSK offsite pharmacies and regional pharmacies
• Assist with pharmacy inspections
• Assist with third party insurance audits
• Assist with copay collection
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability

Key Qualifications:

• Valid NY Pharmacist license
• PharmD (or equivalent)
• Prior hospital pharmacy and chemotherapy experience (beneficial)
• Strong computer skills and the ability to develop a good understanding of pharmacy systems
• Prior retail pharmacy experience (preferred)
• IV compounding experience (beneficial)

Additional Information:

• Hours of operation for Retail Pharmacy: currently 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
• Schedule:  Shifts will fall during the hours of operation, subject to change based on departmental needs
• 100% on-site
• Report to: Manager, Pharmacy - MSK 53rd Street
