Role Overview 

  • Oversee Epic portfolio supporting Ambulatory Care across outpatient Oncology and non-Oncology services. Portfolio includes but is not limited to EpicCare Ambulatory, Cadence, and MyChart 

  • Manage intake, governance, and delivery of system optimizations to enhance workflows and patient experience. 

  • Lead projects to improve appointment scheduling, provider documentation, and patient communications. 

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, schedulers, and operations teams to align Epic functionality with clinical needs. 

  • Partner across portfolios (e.g., imaging, infusion, perioperative) to ensure smooth patient transitions. 

  • Facilitate governance meetings (monthly, quarterly, annual) to provide updates, decisions, and approvals. 

  • Translate new ideas into Epic designs and carry initiatives through build, testing, and implementation. 

  • Support adoption and training through close partnership with Epic Training and MSK operations staff. 

  • Continuously evaluate risks, improve processes, and link strategy to execution to drive organizational goals. 

Key Qualifications 

  • 5+ years in ambulatory operations or healthcare IT. 

  • Minimum 2+ years managing Epic projects with proven delivery results. 

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management experience. 

  • EpicCare Ambulatory and/or Cadence certification strongly preferred. 

 

Core Skills 

  • Expertise in Epic system design, optimization, and integration across ambulatory domains. 

  • Strong leadership and ability to collaborate with clinicians, executives, and cross-functional teams. 

  • Skilled in risk assessment, governance facilitation, and portfolio prioritization. 

  • Excellent communication, business acumen, and stakeholder relationship management 

 

Pay Range: $149,200.00 - $246,300.00
