Role Overview
Oversee Epic portfolio supporting inpatient Oncology and non-Oncology services across enterprise locations.
Manage intake and prioritization for Epic development across inpatient care domains.
Lead Epic projects that improve inpatient workflows including documentation, rounding, handoffs, and revenue capture.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, allied health, schedulers, and inpatient operations teams.
Drive optimization of patient flow, provider documentation, and patient communications.
Coordinate with other portfolios (e.g., imaging, infusion, perioperative) to support transitions of care.
Ensure EpicCare Inpatient and Orders functionality is aligned with end-to-end workflows.
Guide projects through design, build, review, testing, and implementation.
Facilitate governance forums to provide prioritization updates, approvals, and decision-making.
Key Qualifications
5+ years in inpatient operations or healthcare IT.
2+ years managing Epic projects.
PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
EpicCare Inpatient and/or Orders certification strongly preferred.
Core Skills
Strong expertise in Epic Inpatient and Orders, with experience optimizing documentation and workflow efficiency.
Ability to collaborate with diverse clinical and executive stakeholders across multiple departments.
Skilled in governance facilitation, project risk analysis, and portfolio management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills
Pay Range: $149,200.00 - $246,300.00
