Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Sr. Application Analyst, Pharmacist
We are seeking a Sr. Application Analyst, Pharmacist to join our team. We are searching for someone who can act as a liaison between clinical and technology teams provides support for clinical systems users and troubleshoots the systems when necessary.
Role Overview:
- Independently manages work related to development, implementation, evaluation and ongoing maintenance and support of applications.
- Works collaboratively with Directors, Service Chiefs, Departmental Administrators, Managers of Information Systems and staff in the development and successful utilization of DP&I managed systems.
- Collaborates with clinical/operational leaders in establishing objectives and standards for all clinical systems.
- Assumes responsibility for project execution, working in conjunction with Operations and Product Managers, and Clinical and Ancillary teams to achieve stated outcomes.
- Performs in-depth analysis and documentation of data and workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical specification associated with Clinical Systems and new modules.
- Provides on-call support during the day and off-hours as scheduled to assist with and problem solve issues impacting ECS.
- Supports and provides input into the work of Associate Analysts, Application Specialist I and II on specific project/initiative implementation.
- Evaluates and makes recommendations to refine clinical processes, clinical decision support systems, and clinical applications to support best practice workflows, patient safety, and quality initiatives, as well as regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Prepares test plans, tests systems, and documents testing outcomes with every functional change, systems upgrade, or interface changes.
Key Qualifications:
- Specialist professional with deep knowledge and actionable experience, and broad understanding of interdependencies beyond SME scope (domain level)
- Has a working understanding of both business and technical discussions, able to contribute to both.
- Epic Willow Ambulatory and Inventory Certification required.
- Pharm D (or equivalent) required.
- Ability to apply clinical experience and/or expertise to assess clinical workflow processes, identify gaps, and coordinate solutions utilizing clinical information systems.

- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Great communication skills.

- Schedule: Hybrid 3 days a month.
