Role Overview:

  • Order supplies from vendors and manage software systems like Helios, UPS, Vuetura, and Coupa.
  • Prevent stock-outs by proactively ordering and offering alternatives when items are unavailable.
  • Notify management of supply shortages and suggest cost-saving measures.
  • Verify deliveries, unpack, and distribute supplies accurately and timely to patient floors and clinical areas.
  • Monitor expiration dates and replenish supplies, linens, oxygen tanks, and pantry items daily.
  • Process returns, manage mail distribution, and oversee deliveries using VueturaTrac.
  • Supervise truck deliveries, assign loading bays, and provide necessary unloading equipment.
  • Inspect received items for accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Collect and transport specimens and time-sensitive materials between locations within set timelines.
  • Oxygen tanks are checked and changed by another department.

Key Qualification & Core Skills:

  • Able to optimally communicate.
  •  Must be able to work independently and have analytical and problem solving skills.

Additional Information:

Location: 353 E 68th st Kimmel Building

ScheduleMonday - Friday, 5am-8pm. Must be flexible
