Role Overview:
As a Research Technician, you will be an essential part of our research team, working hands-on with a variety of laboratory techniques and equipment. Your contributions will help accelerate discoveries that improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities include:
- Laboratory Support: Prepare and maintain lab equipment, instruments, solutions, stains, assays, and other essential supplies.
- Techniques & Assays: Perform specialized techniques, such as cell culture, cell separation, electrophoresis, TIA, ELISA etc.
- Animal Handling: Conduct animal studies, including injections, tissue/fluids collection, and animal autopsies to facilitate chemical identification and analyses.
- Data Management: Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and provide insights to the research team.
- Collaboration: Assist peers and researchers with ongoing projects, fostering a team-oriented, supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven basic laboratory skills and the ability to handle diverse tasks in a research setting.

Scientists working in SKI labs have access to extensive technological support through the institute’s many Core Facilities. The cores perform vital services for our scientists and permit even small labs to do big science.
