Culinary / Line Cooks

Our Line Cooks play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional dining experiences for patients, caregivers, visitors, and staff. With a passion for food and a commitment to quality, they prepare a diverse array of dishes that nourish and delight.

In our dynamic kitchen, Line Cooks showcase their culinary expertise by managing multiple stations—grill, sauté, prep, salad, and desserts—ensuring every meal is fresh and beautifully presented. They respond adeptly to special requests, maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation.

Working closely with our Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine, Line Cooks contribute to a collaborative environment that prioritizes outstanding service and satisfaction. Room Service Associate

The Essential Role of Room Service Associates at MSK

Room Service Associates (RSAs) are vital in creating a positive experience for patients, caregivers, and visitors. With a passion for hospitality and exceptional communication, every patient feels welcomed and well-cared for during their stay. They act as a crucial liaison between patients, clinical dietitians, and nursing staff, ensuring that dietary needs are met with precision.

RSAs are responsible for:

1. Distributing menus and meal trays accurately.

2. Assisting patients with meal selections and substitutions.

3. Promptly responding to requests and inquiries.

By fostering a supportive environment, RSAs help make each patient’s stay more comfortable and enjoyable. They help alleviate any concerns, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Sanitation Associate

The Vital Role of Sanitation Associates at MSK are essential to maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. With a positive attitude and strong communication skills, they contribute to our Environmental Services team across locations.

Sanitation Associates are responsible for:

1. Performing cleaning duties, including dishwashing and mopping.

2. Ensuring all kitchen equipment and supplies are operational and ready for use.

3. Sanitizing pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen equipment.

4. Keeping assigned areas clean and organized.

5. Managing the supply of dishes and utensils in the kitchen and retail areas.

6. Collecting and disposing of trash and recycling.

By upholding high sanitation standards, Sanitation Associates help create a welcoming atmosphere that supports our mission of exceptional patient care.

Retail Associate (Cafeteria and Gift Shop)
