Architecture
Our Architecture team develops world-class, innovative, integrated, and scalable solutions to realize MSK's vision of transforming cancer care. Our diverse and experienced architects lead the development, maintenance, stewardship, and evolution of MSK's architecture so that our strategies and relevant trends are purposefully embedded throughout everything we do.

AI & Machine learning (AI/ML)
The AI and Machine Learning team tells stories with data and accelerates access to insights for stakeholders across the organization. The AI/ML team works on predictive use cases for various outcomes, such as clinical events that could lead to mortality risk, claims denials requesting additional information, and enhancing employee experience via chatbots and workbots.
Working on our AI/ML team, you’ll use your skills to make a meaningful impact on our patients’ lives and care, improving the clinical experience and transforming how employees do their day-to-day work. If you are an innovative technical contributor with strong skills in AI/ML, mathematical modeling, and interactive visualization and are excited about building groundbreaking solutions, this role is for you!
Cloud Computing
MSK is committed to a hybrid cloud strategy, creating state-of-the-art cloud-native applications and resources as we migrate the relevant share of our close to 1,000 applications to the cloud. The Cloud Computing team uses the cloud to serve our patients and conduct breakthrough research in basic and translational research, including genomics, high-resolution imaging, AI & Machine Learning, and more. As a DevSecOps shop, our team uses the most advanced technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

Data Stewardship
Data Stewardship at MSK is about partnering with subject matter experts to define the concepts of our data and how they relate to each other. T With accurate, high-quality data at the core of our mission, the Data Stewardship team dives deep into data to understand what it is, its quality, governance, and how it impacts our organization. Whether using patient data to generate machine-learning outcome predictions or partnering with researchers to create datasets that will lead to new discoveries, stewardship at MSK is focused on creating a transparent data ecosystem that allows our users and systems to interact with information to gain insights and knowledge.
As a stewardship team member, you are creating an enterprise-wide data fabric that feeds every aspect of the clinical, research, and education at MSK. As a data steward, you'll always have a new exciting project to lead.
DevOps
Aligning with the SAFe/Agile methodology, DevOps at MSK utilizes tools and code to build a well-defined QA testing and deployment process for our technical applications. Their work includes quality checks, information security scanning, validation gates, and processes for deployment to production. As a DevOps specialist, you’ll bring together code and ops to help our engineers focus on development and code delivery.
Health Informatics
Informatics Operations focuses on the interaction of people, processes, and technology, enabling MSK to meet critical patient care and research objectives. This division includes three key areas: Enterprise Clinical Systems, Business Insights & External Reporting, and Health Information Management.
• The Enterprise Clinical Systems team supports a suite of clinical and logistics information systems, including the electronic health record, outpatient scheduling system, bed-tracking, pathology, and pharmacy systems. They support clinician and administrative workflows, clinical decision support, health information exchange, and best practices for quality and safety.
• Our Business Insights Team comprises several functions that use resources such as health information systems in collecting, analyzing, and utilizing healthcare information to drive better collaboration and coordination among clinicians.
• The Health Information Management team is trained in the latest information management technology applications and is vital to managing health information and electronic health records (EHRs) daily operations. They also ensure our patients’ health information and records are complete, accurate, and protected.
Our teams partner with clinicians, administrators, and researchers to leverage our system solutions allowing our clinicians to focus on providing patients with the best care as MSK works to discover more-effective strategies to prevent, control, and ultimately cure cancer in the future.
Information Security
The mission of the Information Security Office is twofold: to protect the safety and wellbeing of our patients, workforce, and organization and to enable MSK to better achieve its strategic objectives through forward-thinking cybersecurity strategies. To accomplish this, we have an experienced team focused on a wide range of functions such as policy and governance, cloud and systems security engineering and architecture, awareness and training, identity and access management, incident response, enterprise project and systems management, and more.

Product Design
Our Product Design team brings human-centered design to MSK’s digital platforms through multi-disciplinary work, driven by organizational strategy, and pushing innovation in care delivery and experience. The Product Design teams are user-driven, research-based compassionate problem solvers who are curious about creating the most quality digital products for our internal and external users. This team of strategists brings a diverse and deep set of experiences and expertise to work together, learn, and create as one dedicated design team.
Product Management
Product management is an organizational function that guides every step of a product's lifecycle — overseeing product strategy, development, and the successful execution and adoption of large-scale digital platforms that support MSK employees, clinicians, patients, and, ultimately, the external market.
To build the best possible product, our product managers advocate for users within the organization and make sure their voices are heard. We empower staff and patients with tools that support the best outcomes, and we support our researchers in their efforts to forge new territory in precision oncology.
Our team manages several products across the organization, such as health consumer platforms, clinical applications, and customer relationship management systems. Network, Telecommunications & Video
The Network, Telecommunications, and Video teams provide the communications infrastructure for internal and external communications for all MSK facilities. The team is charged with the strategy, design, execution, and support of several critical functions such as Data Networking, Cyber Security Platforms, internet connectivity, IP services, optical, voice, wireless, cloud routing, and data parsing.

Operations management supports the day-to-day operations of DigITs. They are responsible for understanding all aspects of the business, including but not limited to Human Resources and Finances. Working on this team, you’ll partner with a wide array of employees and departments, serving as a connection point and a primary contact for troubleshooting staff questions and concerns.
Every project starts as an idea to create value through a unique product or service. Project management works with stakeholders to align their projects with our organizational strategy and goals, developing detailed project plans and ensuring success from start to finish. As a project manager, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, incorporating various skills and technologies to deliver something new that makes our organization work better, on time, and within budget.
Research Technology Services (RTS)
Research Technology Services (RTS) is a group dedicated to supporting the Sloan Kettering Institute (SKI), comprised of the SKI Research Computing and High-Performance Computing teams. SKI's mission is one of scientific discovery – the discovery of therapeutics, cures, advancements. RTS supports the technology behind the science, empowering SKI researchers and their research. Our teams analyze current growth constraints and proactively address the future needs of SKI.
