Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Revenue Analytics Specialist 

MSK is seeking a Revenue Analytics Specialist to support Revenue Cycle, Finance, and Operations through data-driven reporting and insight generation. This role turns complex healthcare data into clear, actionable intelligence that improves financial performance and operational outcomes. The position requires strong technical expertise, business partnership, and the ability to communicate findings to varied audiences. Ideal candidates bring healthcare analytics experience, advanced SQL knowledge, Tableau expertise, and familiarity with revenue cycle performance. 

Role Overview 

  • Serve as a key analytics partner to Revenue Cycle, Finance, and Operations leaders by delivering reporting and insights that support decision-making. 

  • Analyze financial, operational, and revenue cycle data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. 

  • Develop reporting and analyses that help improve reimbursement outcomes, operational performance, and financial results. 

  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business stakeholders. 

  • Translate business needs into technical reporting solutions and actionable analytics deliverables. 

  • Monitor key financial and operational metrics and provide recommendations based on findings. 

  • Respond to ad hoc analytical requests with timely, relevant, and practical insights. 

  • Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Cycle, IT, and operational teams on analytics and reporting initiatives. 

  • Support process improvement, automation, system testing, and implementation efforts tied to reporting and data management. 

Key Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of healthcare analytics experience in a relevant analytical, reporting, or business intelligence role. 

  • Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated ability to build complex queries and analytical solutions. 

  • Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau. 

  • Experience working with large healthcare datasets and integrating data from multiple sources. 

  • Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle analytics and healthcare reporting, with Epic Caboodle experience preferred.

  • Analytical problem-solving that turns large, complex datasets into meaningful business insights. 

  • Communication skills to clearly present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Solution-oriented thinking that translates business requirements into scalable, accurate, and efficient reporting tools. 

 

Additional Information: 

  • Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday 

  • Location: Hybrid; 1x a week at 633 Third Avenue, NYC 

  • Reporting To: Manager, Financial Reporting
