We are seeking a hardworking, motivated, and upbeat teammate with excellent communication skills to join our Food and Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will help provide a safe and sanitary environment for our patients, visitors, and staff while gaining exposure to different areas of hospitality and retail service. 

Role Overview: 

• Perform sanitation duties, including cleaning, mopping, dishwashing, pot washing, and other related responsibilities throughout Food and Nutrition Services. 

• Ensure all equipment and supplies are operational and available at your workstation. 

• Clean, sanitize, and store pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. 

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including kettles, ovens, mixers, and refrigerators. 

• Sweep, mop, and clean assigned areas. 

• Maintain an adequate supply of dishes and utensils throughout the Main Kitchen and Retail areas. 

• Collect and dispose of garbage, trash, and recycling.

• Ability to push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. 

• One year of dishwasher or porter experience in a restaurant, hospital, school, or similar setting strongly preferred. 

• Experience cleaning kitchen appliances, equipment, and utensils strongly preferred.

• Schedule: Full-time; must be flexible and available to work some weekends and holidays 

• Reports to: Manager, Sanitation
