Role Overview:
Manage the technical functions, activities, and daily operations of the X-Ray and CT departments at MSK’s Main Hospital Campus
Lead and support teams of radiologic and CT technologists to provide high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered imaging services
Ensure departmental operations meet MSK and regulatory standards for quality, safety, compliance, and patient care
Partner with Radiology leadership, radiologists, nursing, and other clinical teams to optimize workflow and address operational needs
Monitor staffing, scheduling, productivity, quality, and other operational measures to ensure effective coverage and performance
Support staff development, engagement, competency, and ongoing education
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, patient experience, quality, and operational efficiency
Serve as a clinical and operational resource for X-Ray and CT services
Key Qualifications:
7–10 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, X-Ray, and/or CT preferred, including demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license
Current ARRT certification
CT experience and/or advanced CT certification preferred
Demonstrated experience leading teams within a complex hospital or healthcare environment preferred
Strong knowledge of imaging operations, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements

Strategic Leadership: Ability to align X-Ray and CT operations with departmental and organizational goals while driving quality, efficiency, and an exceptional patient experience
Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging workflows, staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and day-to-day radiology operations
Collaborative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams while partnering effectively with radiologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams
Data-Driven Decision Maker: Ability to use operational and quality data to assess performance, identify opportunities, and drive improvements
Effective Communicator: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage staff and collaborate across departments

Location: Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm (flexibility as needed)
Reporting to: Clinical Director, Radiology
