Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Finance Manager – Routine Capital

Looking for a collaborative team environment where you can make an impact?

The Finance Manager will interact with various teams across the organization as a trusted finance partner and will support leadership with the optimal use of capital resources. Coordinate and manage the recapitalization planning cycle, cash flow forecasting and development of multi-year recapitalization plan.

Role Overview:

  • Coordinate and manage the recapitalization planning cycle in alignment with governance committee goals and objectives

  • Create financial models, financial analysis tools and presentations that demonstrate progress made towards achieving financial/capital goals

  • Develop business cases, financial models, and presentations that support senior leadership decision-making, prioritization and funding of reinvestment and other capital initiatives

  • Prepare clear, insightful financial / capital reports and presentations for senior executives, governance committees, and other stakeholders that drive informed decision-making.

  • Develop, update and review in-depth and complex financial analyses related to cost savings initiatives, new programs, projects or business plans

  • Use benchmarking data to identify industry best practices and opportunities for improvement

  • Conduct forecasting and scenario analysis modeling

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of finance, financial planning, or related experience (healthcare strongly preferred)

  • Hospital or healthcare finance experience strongly preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills, Strata experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and subgroups

  • A critical thinker with strong understanding of complex key financial metrics

  • Self-starter that takes initiative in managing multiple projects independently

  • Action-oriented and eager to embrace new challenges

  • Advanced financial analysis and interpretation capabilities

  • An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding

  • Schedule: Hybrid, primarily remote with flexibility to come onsite as needed for key meetings, stakeholder engagement, and team collaboration
