Role Overview:
Join our pioneering Early Drug Development Service, where you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team of solid tumor experts leading the way in groundbreaking cancer research. As a Clinical Trials Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant), you’ll manage patients enrolled in sophisticated early-phase clinical trials, contribute to scholarly projects, and deliver exceptional care in an APP-driven clinic environment. Collaborate closely with physicians and research teams, including principal investigators, Clinical Research Coordinators, Data Managers, and Nursing Staff, to develop and conduct innovative clinical trials. Your role will involve screening patients for protocols, guiding them through the informed consent process, and providing critical education for those considering or participating in trials. With responsibilities spanning both inpatient and outpatient settings, you'll monitor toxicities, assess clinical responses, and ensure high-quality protocol execution, all while being part of a dedicated team of over 900 APPs at Memorial Sloan Kettering. This is your chance to create a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer.
Key Qualifications:
- Current New York State (NYS) and New Jersey NJS RN and NP licenses/registrations
- Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
- A Minimum of 2+ years of clinical NP experience
- Related National NP certification
- BLS/ ACLS certification
- Previous Inpatient & Outpatient Oncology experience required, clinical research experience preferred
OR
- Graduate from an accredited PA program
- NCCPA certification
- Active NYS and New Jersey license or be qualified for state licensure
- A minimum of 3+ years of related experience as a PA
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Previous Inpatient & Outpatient Oncology experience required, clinical research experience preferred

- Experience in Early Drug Development or Research is highly valued.
- Eager to participate in research conferences, presentations, and publications.
- Skilled at anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in securing and deploying resources efficiently.

Additional Information:
Hours: Four 10 hours day shifts per week, flexed Monday-Friday
Location: New York City & Monmouth NJ
Pay Range: 144k-182K
