MSK Celebrates Black History Month 2021 - Britney Alea Gardner

From a young age, faith and family have been a source of strength and inspiration for Britney Alea Gardner. Born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised Roman Catholic, church and prayer were important to her. “My mom always made sure to keep the faith within our family,” says Ms. Gardner, who also admired her mother’s strong work ethic as a single parent with a full-time job.
