Division of Subspecialty Medicine
The Division of Subspecialty Medicine provides general medical care to patients undergoing cancer treatment at MSK. We help watch, treat and manage preexisting medical conditions, such as diabetes, renal problems, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart disease, gastrointestinal illnesses, and persistent or latent infections.
The division includes teams focused on dermatology; infectious diseases; integrative medicine; gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition; geriatrics; renal; cardiology; endocrinology and pulmonary care.
By addressing all of our patients’ needs, we’re able to improve their health and maximize their chance of becoming cancer free.
