About Us:

The Pre-Surgical Center Patient Care Technician ensures the care, comfort and satisfaction of our patients and their families by using clinical knowledge, clinical/technical skills and communication skills to assist in resolving any patient care related issues while working in close collaboration with entire clinical team and under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse. These duties include ensuring that patients and family members are assisted in a timely, efficient and courteous manner and handling acutely ill patients in stressful situations. Taking Vitals, EKGs, basic computer and data entry skills are required.
Successful applicants must possess strong communication skills, take an analytical approach to problem solving; enjoy working as part of a team, and exhibit initiative.

This position rotates between our 53rd and 60th Street Locations

Hours: 4 days per week, 10 Hour days flexed between 8:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday – Friday

What You Need:

* Required: High School diploma or equivalency
* Preferred: Bachelor’s degree

* Required: one(1) year of strong patient care experience
* Preferred: two(2) or more years of strong patient care, customer service and leadership experience

Preferred: Certification from an accredited Nursing Assistant or comparable training program
